My style is a blending of traditional painting and illustration. Years ago I studied with book illustrator and writer, Uri Schulevitz in New York. What I learned from him was the importance of telling a story in your drawings. He believed the picture has to stand alone and the words have to stand alone. When they are put together they make a dynamic that people can remember. He made me aware of how storytelling works. This is my challenge and my style.
Two crows is a scratchboard drawing I did a few years ago. I think they tell a cool story.
