AI Art

Kids and their pets

I am playing with a new idea to see how much control I can have and how creative I can be in capturing kids and their love for their pets. Here are my ideas so far. I’m not too concerned about making the models consistent at this point, I merely want to get a grip on the concept.

Exploring AI rich options

I feel like a privileged artist to be watching and participating in a mini-miracle. I have fallen in love with a favorite AI platform. Right now my head is spinning with all the choices and options I have. I’ve been using my original art as the inspiration to create new images, rather that starting from what another artist has done. This is my favorite method of working so far as it helps me feel like my feet are on the ground and I understand that I have a personal stake is the creation of this piece.
Here is my original scratchboard, straight out of my imagination, that I am using as my inspiration:

These six AI creations are just a few of the options I chose to show you here. There are hundreds more. With a one word change in my prompt, a slight change in the lighting, the color of the cat and/or the general look of the girl and atmosphere of the composition, every shot here is different.
If you run photoshop or a similar program, you understand there may be many, many different ways to solve a problem or get the image you are looking for or the improvement to the original. There is no one way that is correct. To me this is the same experience in AI. I think it will not put an end to original art as we know it. I think it’s exciting and can open a lot of doors for artists. Let me know your thoughts on this.

I am not a Chiwawa dog in Spanish

This little guy is a welsh corgi.  Of course he is.  Once upon a time a little girl wanted him strictly because she thought he was one of cute Mexican dogs they call a chiwawa.

He made a little ruffled bark and told her, “No, I am not a chiwawa dog.”  She took him
home anyway.  They lived happily ever after.

I have combined my  love of fonts; this one is Dino Kids, with pencil sketching and digital ribbon and bow, drawn on my Cintique by Wacom.  enjoy.  purchase

Here is another zentangle from my collection of pen and ink little drawings that I am digitally drawing and painting to finish them ON THE WACOM.  This one was a real experience because I guess it’s a shock to experience the vivid and true color on the cintiq tablet and  see the paler version  on the internet.  On the web the colors look pale to me.

To say the least I spent many hours on this and I worked it through and reworked it trying to learn how I could have done it easier.
