Goofy looking woman thinks she’s a beauty

Everybody has more than one side to their personality. I am no exception. I love to paint serious subjects and work with all the natural elements of fine art. But guess what? I also love to doodle and goof around. Here is a goofy gal that stole my heart. I have known a few gems like her in my life….hmmm. I wonder if I’m one of them.

I drew her strictly to use this new font called “Spilled Ink” by Michael Rafailyk . It can be found on My Fonts. What fun.

Here she is on a tee. Thanks for looking.

Baby Goat is a Kid

baby-goat-web

Who does not like a baby goat?  They are like wise old men turned into babies, or maybe the other way around?  This is a little sketch from one of my many sketch books.  This one was done in quick pen with a few watercolor washes.

I am playing with matching fonts to my art.  I am very fond of this font, which is called “stroke dimension”.  Maybe a 4H kid out there would like this.  Here’s the store to get a t-shirt for a kid.

Itsy Bitsy Spider and Cat

itsybitsyspider-th

Babies and kids fall for it when you make a crawling motion with your fingers over their sweet little bodies.  They laugh and anywhere from 4 to 6 months will make you a hit.

The itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the spout again

Then there is the never-to-grow up child like myself who still likes to play.  I am playing here with fonts and how they relate to the subject matter. This sweet font is Segoe Print.
